The Hilbert-Schmidt property of feedback operators

Abstract

In this article, under mild assumptions, we prove that the feedback operator arising from a Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control design for certain classes of well-posed infinite-dimensional linear systems is Hilbert-Schmidt.
