Applicability of Fuzzy Logic and Neural Networks to Logistics Control

Oleg Samukhin

Abstract

The paper examines the issue of logistics control and applicability of fuzzy logic and neural networks to control of logistics performance. The author describes the elements of logistics control system, indicates the importance of performance measurement and areas of control where fuzzy logic and neural networks can improve the performance of controlling function. Illustrations and tables are used to enhance the argument.

Key words: Logistics, control, systems, neural networks, fuzzy logic, performance parameters, Decision Support Systems
